Friday 4th and Saturday 5th 10am – 5.30pm
All Saints’ Church, 79 Stewart Street, Crewe, CW2 8LX.
All Saints’ church is hosting its biannual festival of arts and crafts on the first weekend in October as part of our Harvest Festival celebrations. This event has become a regular part of our Church’s calendar.
We are proud to be featuring some of the finest work from local artists displayed within this architecturally interesting church on the outskirts of Crewe. Much of the art work will be for sale. Added to this there will be a wide variety of craft work on sale as well as the chance to learn some crafting techniques. There will also be some craft activities for the youngsters.
All this to a background of music performed by local groups and soloists.
We have not forgotten the all important ‘refreshments’ – available all day with seating in the Church hall. If bric-a-brac is your thing then we have that too – as well as second hand books and craft supplies.
This is a fund raising event and this year’s chosen charity is our local St. Paul’s Centre in town. Many of you will know, at least, a little about the place because of its furniture sales and its involvement with the food bank. There is, however, more to this charity than this so please come along to support and learn more of the work carried out at St. Paul’s.
There is an entrance fee (adults £1 and children 50p – the very young and more than 2 children go free)
The nearest bus route (bus 8W to Wistaston Green) stops on Alton Street, which crosses Stewart Street – so it’s the stop nearest this junction.
